Amongst many other things I love writing software and drawing.
I'm fascinated by Japanese culture and especially by everything related to Zen.

About technology (or in a broader sense science) I like the intellectual challenge and its systematic approach. I'm very interested in how systems work and I can get quite obsessed with finding out.

My profession mainly lies in the fields of computer vision and computer graphics, and I've worked as a C++ software engineer in this sector for many years now.

About art I like its spontaneous and emotional side, its playfulness, how it inspires our lives, makes them more colorful, and how it is able to change our views in a fundamental and subversive way. It makes the invisible visible to us.

Recently - with the release of suitable portable devices - I'm getting very attracted to digital drawing. I love to start a quick doodle and see how a drawing gradually evolves around it.
